Summary of Feedback from Workshops
In 1992 the New Systems Committee mapped out a computing strategy for Ryerson that shaped much of the computing resources available at Ryerson today. A great deal has changed since then. In 1992 the Web was a blip on the horizon and Ryerson's E-mail system had to cope with fewer than 100 simultaneous users. Today faculty and students are using the Web as a key component in courses and the E-mail system passes the 100 simultaneous users mark by 9AM every day. The ITSDC has been set up by the Vice President Academic to draw the next map for Information Technology at Ryerson.
